PATesting and Fire Extinguisher Engineer full Training provided
We are currently looking for a new employee to join our team based in Kiln Farrm Milton Keynes, some to train or already has experience in PATesting and Fire Extinguisher Servicing.
The engineers start work at the base in Kiln Farm and start time vary from 6.00am to 9.00am depending on the job for that day, if you start early you finish early.
Initially you will work in a team of engineers, visiting clients sites and spend the first three months being trained on PATesting, after the initial three month you will be sent on a City & Guild course for 2 days.
After an initial period there is the opportunity to then learn how to service Fire Extinguishers and Inspect Fire Doors.
No previous experience is required but it will help if you are practically minded.
Must have full driving licence and be able to make your own way to MK11 3HG for the start of each day.
Key responsibilities
- Carry out PATesting on Clients equipment at the clients site.
- Complete a visual inspection and a electrical safety tests.
- Identify and report failed or unsafe equipment
- Apply correct labels
- Record test results, via the testing machine
- Inform supervisor or client of failed equipment
- Work safely and professionally at customer premises
