Parts Advisor - Cambridgeshire - £29,000 + Monday to Frida

Parts Advisor - Cambridgeshire - £29,000 + Monday to Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm + Saturday mornings on a rota

The Job

  • Sell parts, accessories, and related products to retail and trade customers
  • Raise, process, and follow up on parts orders and invoices
  • Provide parts counter support to workshop colleagues and maintain strong internal working relationships
  • Maintain high standards of housekeeping within the showroom and parts warehouse
  • Build and maintain positive customer relationships, keeping customers informed of order status, promotions, and relevant updates
  • Monitor stock levels and replenish showroom and warehouse stock as required
  • Receive deliveries, check goods, record stock, and ensure products are stored correctly
  • Carry out stock checks and inventory audits as required
  • Promote current offers, special promotions, and additional products
  • Deliver parts and visit customers off-site when required
  • Sell and install horticultural equipment, including ride-on mowers
  • Complete inventory management and departmental documentation accurately
  • Utilise internal parts databases, stock management systems, and reporting tools
  • Operate equipment safely and in accordance with company procedures

The candidate

  • Have excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Be organised, accurate, and able to prioritise workloads effectively
  • Be comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
  • Have experience within a parts, retail, warehouse, automotive, agricultural, or similar environment (preferred)
  • Be confident using computerised stock management systems
  • Physically capable of carrying out manual handling tasks, including some heavy lifting
  • Hold forklift truck experience or certification (advantageous but not essential)
  • Hold a full driving licence (preferred)
