You do not need previous social care experience, as full training and development will be provided.

What You’ll Do:

  • Support and inspire adults with learning disabilities through animal care, outdoor work and practical life skills
  • Support with feeding, grooming and exercising the horses
  • Help maintain stables, paddocks and outdoor areas
  • Care for smaller animals, including guinea pigs and chickens, and help keep the environment safe
  • Help build confidence, independence, teamwork and workplace skills
  • Work three days per week during daytime hours: 9:30 am to 3:00 pm, including a 30-minute unpaid lunch break
  • Transport clients safely to and from centres, using your own vehicle with appropriate business insurance
  • Hourly pay and mileage begin from the point clients are collected; travel to and from clients’ homes is not paid

Why Join Us:

  • A rewarding job where your support helps people gain confidence and independence
  • A supportive team and welcoming workplace
  • Varied, hands-on work with animals and outdoor activities
  • Full training provided, so social care experience is not essential
  • Permanent part-time work with family-friendly daytime hours

What We’re Looking For:

  • A passion for making a difference
  • Comfortable working outdoors and around animals
  • An interest in animal care, horses, practical work or supporting adults with learning disabilities
  • A friendly, motivating presence with a patient and can-do attitude
  • A full UK driving licence, own vehicle and business insurance are essential, as the role includes transporting clients and covering across centres

This role is subject to a standard DBS check and satisfactory references. What matters most is your attitude. We are looking for someone who is kind, reliable, patient and willing to learn.
