Allstaff Manufacturing Division are delighted to bring to the market the role of Assistant Technical Coordinator for well established company based in Glasgow.
The working hours are Monday to Friday, either 8:00am–4:00pm or 9:00am–5:00pm.
Due to continued growth the company is looking to bring on board an energetic and innovative Assistant Technical Coordinator within the technical department.
This will be a pivotal role working with the Project Manager within the business, ensuring coordination of technical information between internal departments and the customer-side team to ensure the flow of information, control of deadlines, management of customer expectations and contract changes/variations.
This is an exciting opportunity to work on ongoing medium to high-rise housing projects, supporting the business during a period of continued growth and increasing sales, whilst also becoming involved in ad hoc improvement projects as required.
- Core Duties of the Role
- Review client contract documentation to gain a thorough understanding of project requirements, scope and deliverables.
- Establish initial contact with the client and introduce the project team.
- Arrange access to project management and online portal systems for internal and external project stakeholders.
- Ensure all relevant project documentation is uploaded, maintained and accessible to both technical teams and clients via online portal systems.
- Plan, coordinate and facilitate project handover and kick-off meetings with internal and external technical teams to ensure project objectives and requirements are clearly understood.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, including Information Release Schedules, and coordinate with internal teams to ensure key milestones and deadlines are achieved.
- Prepare, distribute and upload project-specific technical documentation and datasheets for client review and approval.
- Coordinate and agree project delivery schedules with clients to meet programme requirements.
- Prepare material take-offs and procure project-specific sundry items in line with project requirements.
- Liaise with suppliers to coordinate deliveries and monitor adherence to agreed delivery dates.
- Receive, investigate and coordinate responses to technical and commercial queries raised by site teams, ensuring timely resolution to maintain project progress.
