Job Purpose: I am a disabled lady who is looking for someone to provide support with going out and about and enable me to enjoy my life again.

Details

I would like to employ a Personal Assistant for supported activities and going and about. I have mobility issues (currently using crutches for walking) but would like to build my strength and improve my walking. I find it difficult to get out of the house so you would be supporting me with access to community. I used to enjoy swimming and going to cinema and would like to be able to do this again.

  • Female carer (Schedule 9, P1 of the Equality Act 2010 applies)
  • Experience of supporting clients with depression

Summary terms and conditions

  • The rate of pay for this position is £13.50 per hour
  • Hours and times of work: 5 hours per week, 3.5 hours on Tuesday and Friday afternoons
  • The annual holiday entitlement for this position will be equivalent to the work I would normally expect to be done during 5.6 consecutive weeks
  • This position requires the employee to complete the following free annual training: GDPR, Health and Safety, Mental Health, Moving and Handling

Post is subject to the following

  • A satisfactory enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check, the cost of which will be covered by the employer
  • Satisfactory references from two referees, one of which must be your current or last employer
  • Completion of a satisfactory probationary period of 3 months
