Details:
- Support will be required to help with daily living activities.
- Personal care: Assist with tasks like showering, drying, dressing, applying creams.
- Meal preparation: Preparing, cooking and serving meals.
- Household tasks: Assist with housekeeping: hoovering, washing floors, dusting, and washing clothes.

- Female carer due to personal care aspects of the position (Schedule 9, P1 of the Equality Act 2010 applies)

- Advantage to have similar experience working in a similar role, but not essential. Training can be provided.
Summary terms and conditions:
- The rate of pay for this position is £15 per hour for employed PA and £16.89 for self-employed PA.
- Hours and times of work: Between 09:30-12:30 plus hours during the week (3-5 days per week), which will include some weekends, and to cover any sickness and holidays, days advised ahead of time.
- Other duties will be discussed if/when deemed appropriate but everything that will be expected will be explained prior to acceptance of the position.
- The annual holiday entitlement for this position will be equivalent to the work I would normally expect to be done during 5.6 consecutive weeks.
- Access to free training for employed workers.
- If this job requires Manual Handling, Handling of hazardous chemicals and/or Food Handling you will be required undertake annual training.
The post is subject to the following:
- A satisfactory enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check, the cost of which will be covered by the employer.
- Satisfactory references from two referees, one of which must be your current or last employer.
- Completion of a satisfactory probationary period of 6 months.
