PA for a young child for supported activities during school holidays, PE30 @ £12.89 p/h

Personal Assistant required for a young SEN child.

You would assist with personal care, support the child during recreational activities inside and outside of the family home and prepare a simple meal such as pizza, chicken nuggets and chips or warm up already prepared meal.

Details

Successful applicant would be supporting my child with visits to local parks and walks. Activities at home, such as colouring. Personal care as needed.

  • Hours and times of work: Support will be required during school holidays.

Approximately 8-12 hours a week across 2-3 days or 3 hours a day 5 days a week.

Exact times and days will be discussed during the interview.

  • Other duties will be discussed if/when deemed appropriate but everything that will be expected will be explained prior to acceptance of the position.
  • Annual holiday entitlement for this position will be equivalent to the work I would normally expect to be done during 5.6 consecutive weeks.
  • Access to free training for employed workers.

If this job requires; Manual Handling, Handling of hazardous chemicals and/or Food Handling you will be required undertake annual training.

  • A satisfactory enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check, the cost of which will be covered by the employer.
  • Satisfactory references from two referees, one of which must be your current or last employer.
  • Completion of a satisfactory probationary period of 3 months.
