We're Hiring: Young People's Substance Use Worker
Location
Didcot Children & Family Centre / Community Working, Oxfordshire
Hours
35 hours per week (including one late evening and occasional weekends)
Pay
£17.30 per hour
Contract
Initially a temporary contract, with the opportunity to be reviewed for a permanent position after 3 months.
Essential
A full UK driving licence and access to a car are required, as this is a community-based role.

About the Role
In this rewarding position, you'll support children and young people affected by substance use, managing your own caseload while engaging with young people across schools, colleges, partner agencies, and community settings.
You'll
- Carry out specialist assessments and develop personalised care plans.
- Deliver evidence-based psychosocial interventions through one-to-one sessions, group work, and online support.
- Work collaboratively with partner agencies to achieve the best outcomes for young people.
- Empower young people to recognise their strengths, build resilience, and create lasting positive change.
