We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated LCV/Van Technician to join a reputable commercial vehicle dealership in Oxford on behalf of our client. Duties:

  • Carry out all scheduled servicing, repairs, and maintenance work to manufacturer standards efficiently and within set timeframes
  • Diagnose complex vehicle faults accurately and perform necessary repairs to high standards
  • Support colleagues by sharing technical knowledge and assisting with complex diagnostics
  • Ensure all work documentation, including diagnosis results, service reports, and safety inspections, is completed thoroughly and accurately
  • Adhere strictly to company policies, procedures, and health & safety regulations
  • Contribute to maintaining high workshop productivity and customer satisfaction levels

Requirements as a Van Technician:

  • Qualified to IMI/NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair
  • At least 1-2 years of practical post-qualification experience within a busy automotive workshop environment
  • Strong diagnostic skills and ability to carry out repairs efficiently
  • Good team player with a committed and professional attitude
  • Ability to produce high-quality workmanship within strict deadlines
  • Flexible to work various shifts, with a 40-hour week pattern including early and late shifts
