About the Role
As the new Manager, you will play an integral part of our team during the exciting growth period as we open new children’s homes in 2026.
This role offers a unique opportunity to create a safe and nurturing environment where children can thrive, while working closely with leadership to bring our homes to life in a bold and innovative way.
Responsibilities
- Partner with children’s homes to support the most vulnerable children and families, including those on the edge of care, within the Children We Care For system and those preparing for independence.
- Deliver integrated and individually tailored interventions to promote the best outcomes for children and their families.
- Supervise, manage and develop staff working in residential childcare settings.
- Ensure compliance with residential children’s homes regulations and maintain outstanding OFSTED standards.
- Work collaboratively with the leadership team to develop and implement strategic plans for the homes.
Qualifications
- At least 5years of experience with a minimum of 2years in a position relevant to the residential care of children.
- At least 1year of experience in a role requiring the supervision and management of staff in a residential childcare setting.
- Knowledge of managing residential children’s homes regulations.
- A Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (England) or equivalent, or the willingness to work towards it within the first 18months of employment.
