Key Responsibilities
- Carry out decommissioning, waste management and decontamination activities within a radioactive environment.
- Perform waste segregation, size reduction, processing and packaging operations.
- Operate powered equipment to support decommissioning and waste activities.
- Maintain accurate waste records and documentation.
- Wear and work safely in a variety of specialist PPE and protective clothing.
- Provide cover for the Chargehand role when required.
- Follow all site procedures, nuclear safety standards and Site Licence requirements.
- Support company policies, procedures and compliance, including Equality, Diversity and Health & Safety.
- Active Security Clearance

- Proven experience within
- Construction, Property & Facilities or
- Experience working in an industrial environment.
- Good understanding of health and safety procedures.
- Ability to work safely and effectively within a highly regulated environment.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Knowledge of radiological protection and nuclear safety standards.
- Previous experience within the nuclear industry.
- Experience with waste management or decommissioning activities.
