Hays are working with a well-established Oxfordshire business looking to appoint a Management Accountant into their finance team.
Reporting to the Finance Director, this is a broad role offering exposure across the whole organisation. You'll be responsible for producing the monthly management accounts, supporting budgeting and forecasting, providing commercial analysis and partnering with stakeholders across the business.

Key Responsibilities:
- Production of monthly management accounts and financial reporting.
- Variance analysis and providing meaningful commentary on performance.
- Supporting budgeting, forecasting and cash flow planning.
- Producing KPI reporting and management information.
- Business partnering with operational and commercial stakeholders.
- Monitoring departmental spend and supporting budget holders.
- Assisting with year-end accounts and audit requirements.
- Maintaining balance sheet reconciliations and financial controls.
- Supporting continuous improvements to finance processes and reporting.
- Involvement in a range of ad hoc projects and commercial initiatives.
About You:
- Part-qualified ACCA/CIMA or qualified by experience.
- Experienced in producing management accounts.
- Comfortable working with large amounts of data and financial analysis.
- Strong in Excel and finance systems.
- Commercially minded and able to build relationships across the business.
- Organised, proactive and able to manage competing priorities.
