We're looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Inclusive Learning Lecturer to join a welcoming Further Education college in the Oxford area this September. The Opportunity

As an Inclusive Learning Lecturer, you'll deliver engaging and accessible lessons that meet the needs of diverse learners. You'll create a supportive and inspiring classroom environment where learners feel valued, motivated and encouraged to succeed. Working alongside Learning Support Assistants, curriculum teams and wider support services, you'll help learners develop the skills they need for education, employment and independent living.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Planning and delivering engaging and inclusive lessons tailored to individual learner needs
  • Creating a positive and supportive learning environment
  • Supporting learners to develop confidence, independence and communication skills
  • Embedding employability, personal development and life skills into the curriculum
  • Monitoring progress and celebrating learner achievements
  • Supporting learners to achieve EHCP outcomes and individual targets where applicable
  • Working collaboratively with support staff, parents, carers and external professionals
  • Encouraging learner participation, engagement and progression
  • Maintaining accurate records and contributing to learner reviews and assessments

What We're Looking For

  • Experience teaching learners with SEND, learning difficulties or disabilities
  • A recognised teaching qualification such as PGCE, Cert Ed, DTLLS or equivalent
  • Strong communication and classroom management skills
  • A positive, patient and learner focused approach
  • Passion for inclusive education and learner success
  • Ability to adapt teaching methods to support a range of learning needs
  • Experience within Further Education or Supported Learning settings is highly desirable
