We are currently representing an established M&E contractor with over 20 years' experience, who are looking to add to their growing AC installation team. The company works on a range of high-end commercial projects, including offices, forensic science facilities and other specialist commercial environments. The existing AC installation team consists of six engineers, and due to continued growth, they are now looking for another engineer to join the team. Experienced AC Installers, as well as Junior and Intermediate Engineers looking to progress, will be considered.
The Role
You will be working as part of an established commercial AC installation team, covering projects across the Oxford, Swindon, Reading and wider M4 corridor, with work also extending towards Bristol and Southampton and occasional London projects. You will be involved in the installation of:
- VRV & VRF systems
- Split systems
- Multi-splits
- Twin splits
- Ventilation systems
- AHUs
- Ductwork
- Associated mechanical systems
The company delivers complete mechanical installation packages, so multi-skilled engineers with plumbing or additional mechanical qualifications are particularly desirable.
The Package
- Travel paid from leaving home in the morning
- Enhanced overtime rates available
- 2.5x overtime rate for call-outs
- 1-in-6 call-out rota
- Holiday increases by 1 day per year up to 25 days
- Additional training and qualifications
The call-out rota is 1 in 6 and is described as relatively quiet, with call-outs required only occasionally. When called out, engineers receive 2.5x overtime, with a minimum four-hour payment. There is also additional overtime available during the working week at enhanced rates.
