We are looking to appoint a Catering Assistant to support in the provision of a high quality catering service in line with Prince Henry's Grammar School and government requirements. Working hours for this permanent post are Monday – Friday from 10.00am to 2.30pm, including a 30-minute unpaid break. The post is term-time only, plus 4 additional days.
The role of the Catering Assistant requires:
- Team work
- Strong communication skills
- The ability to stay calm under pressure
- A good understanding of food safety and hygiene practices
The successful candidate will have:
- Ability to work under pressure
- Ability to work as an individual as well as part of a team
- Ability to understand and carry out instructions
- Experience of working in a catering organisation/role (desirable)
