JOB OVERVIEW
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys bringing structure to a fast-paced operational environment, supporting teams and helping make sure work is delivered safely, efficiently and to a high standard. Working as the Operations Coordinator you will act as a central point of support for the operations team, assisting with training, onboarding, scheduling, compliance, finance administration and community initiatives.
As the Operations Coordinator you will work closely with colleagues across HR, Operations, Compliance and Finance, helping to maintain accurate records, coordinate resources and support smooth day-to-day service delivery. The Operations Coordinator will also help maintain systems, support employee administration, assist with site documentation and contribute to local initiatives that create a positive community impact.
DUTIES
- Training and Development: Support training plans, maintain training records, assist with apprenticeships and help onboard new starters
- Operations and Scheduling: Support resource planning, procurement, plant and machinery hire, road space bookings and rota updates
- Recruitment and HR Support: Work with HR and Operations to support recruitment activity, employee wellbeing initiatives and return-to-work processes
- Employee Administration: Process holiday requests through HR, check timesheets and help resolve employee queries
- Health, Safety and Compliance: Prepare RAMS, arrange site inductions and liaise with the Compliance team to ensure requirements are met
- Project and Systems Support: Create and maintain jobs in Procore, update budget and compliance information and help champion the Customer Charter
- Finance Administration: Support invoice logs, financial tracking and forecasting activities
- Community and Social Value: Get involved in local projects and initiatives that create a positive impact in the communities where the organisation works
