We are currently seeking a part-time temporary ongoing Library Assistant for our Client based in Omagh Library. This is an excellent opportunity to get your foot in the door with a public sector body.
STARTING ASAP, working on a 2 week rota basis.
Hours of work:
- Week one:
- Monday - 9:00 - 5:30
- Tuesday - 9:00 - 5:30
- Thursday - 9:00 - 5:30
- Friday - No hours
- Saturday - 9:00 - 16:00
- Week Two:
- Monday - 9:00 - 17:30
- Tuesday - 13:00 - 20:00
- Thursday - 9:00 - 17:30
- Friday - 9:00 - 17:00
- Saturday - No hours
Standard hourly rate:
Duties include:
- Introducing and explaining library services, rules and regulations.
- Providing all library services to meet the learning, information, leisure and cultural needs of the local community.
Requirements:
- Must have 5 GCSE's including English language and Maths grade C or equivalent.
- 1 year experience providing face to face service with the public.
- Experience working with young children and elderly people.
- Experience using ICT for accessing, selecting and using information.
