Key Responsibilities
- Conducting consultations with patients to assess, diagnose, and treat various health conditions

- Clinical Care
- Provide same-day assessments, diagnosis and management for patients presenting with urgent but non-life-threatening conditions.
- Deliver high-quality, evidence-based care in line with clinical guidelines and local pathways.
- Undertake clinical examinations, investigations, and procedures within your competence.
- Prescribe safely and appropriately in accordance with national and local protocols.
- Identify and escape patients requiring emergency intervention or secondary care.
- Ensure continuity of care by communicating effectively with GP practices, community services, and hospital teams.
- Professional Practice
- Maintain accurate, timely clinical records using the centres electronic patient record system.
- Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement activities, and service reviews.
- Engage in regular appraisal, revalidation, and mandatory training.
- Ensure adherence to safeguarding policies for adults and children.
- Contribute to Practice discussions and collaborate with ANPs, Nurses, HCAs, and Reception/Admin staff.
- Service Delivery & Patient Experience
- Support the centre in meeting service standards, KPIs, and CQC requirements.
- Provide a friendly, respectful, and efficient service to all patients.
- Promote health education, self-care, and preventative approaches.
- Help maintain a safe, clean clinical environment, escalating issues where needed
