There is a potential for a mixture of Fixed Term and Permanent posts available. You will be joining a team where evidence based practice, integrated working and service development are foremost in the provision of a quality service.

Innovation and future thinking is what drives our success so we are seeking someone with energy and enthusiasm to help create a therapy service that delivers the best possible solutions for our patients and their families. The Physiotherapy service is working towards a 7 day model and as such you will be expected to be flexible in terms of working patterns including weekday hours, weekends, bank holidays and extra hours if necessary.

Be responsible for your continuing professional development, actively participating in supervision, peer support and training and development programmes. Manage a caseload including prioritisation and delegation of work to therapy assistants, performing patient assessments and making a clinical judgement of the patient’s needs.

Develop, implement, evaluate and modify patient treatment programmes ensuring relevant pathways of care are followed in partnership with the multi-disciplinary team with onward referral to other agencies as appropriate. Maintain accurate and comprehensive patient records complying with Trust policies and procedures, upholding statutory, Chartered Society of Physiotherapy, and HCPC standards and codes of professional conduct.
