Occupational Therapist (Band 5 - MAT Cover)
Main duties: Clinical: You and your Occupational Therapy team will be responsible for the assessment and treatment of occupational dysfunction for 44 people (over the 3 services).
You will work with a full multidisciplinary team (on site) in a coordinated way to support each service user develop their skills and move through our clinical model of care from admission to discharge.
As part of a multi-disciplinary team, you will provide assessment and treatment of occupational dysfunction.
You will promote the importance of enabling people to do the things they want, need or are expected to do to support them being well in life.
You will report directly to the Head Occupational Therapist onsite.
This role includes opportunities for learning, development and research, supported by a robust appraisal and supervision structure based on RCOTs Career Development Framework.

We use evidence-based practice within each of our service lines, as defined by our clinical steering groups, of which Occupational Therapists play a key role.

Working together as a large team we provide support to each other across the group, with the opportunity to be part of specialist interest groups & become involved in service development.
Every service line has a Clinical Lead Occupational Therapist to lead and develop evidence based practice and agreed occupational therapy pathway.
We ensure our Occupational Therapists have a voice through participating in service model development and by utilising the expertise and support of our Clinical Lead Occupational Therapists.
