Salary: £28,597 - £31,021

Hours: 36.66 (Per Week)

Based: Rock Street Centre, Rock Street, Oldham, OL1 3UJ

Role overview

We're looking for a committed and motivated person to provide high quality professional support to frontline children's social workers and managers to help families keep children safe. If you're looking to make a real difference, Children's Services are looking for people like you, to organise and take minutes at our Child Protection Conferences, ensuring service support needs are met efficiently and effectively.

In this role you will:

  • Send out invitations and prepare for Child Protection Case Conferences.
  • Distribute key documents to professionals and families.
  • Minute taking in conferences.
  • Provide general business support, working to competing and changing priorities and demands.
  • Use computer packages and communicate with a variety of audiences.
  • Securely manage confidential and sensitive information.

We need you to have:

  • Experience in taking minutes.
  • Good organisational skills and be able to work on own initiative.
  • Work as part of a team within the Safeguarding Unit.
  • Be able to work at pace with excellent attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of the General Data Protection Regulations.
