Scallywags Day Nursery are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Room Leader to join our dedicated team in Oakham. We are committed to delivering the highest standards of childcare and early years education for children aged 6 weeks to 5 years, ensuring every child feels happy, safe, confident, and supported.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Manager and Deputy Manager with the day-to-day running of the nursery.
- Create a safe, secure, and engaging environment for children
- Deliver high-quality play and learning opportunities in line with the EYFS framework
- Lead, support, and motivate your room team effectively
- Monitor children’s development and maintain high standards of care and education
- Ensure nursery policies, procedures, and safeguarding standards are followed
- Build strong professional relationships with parents and carers
- Supervise staff and contribute to a positive team environment
