About the Position
You will play a key role in ensuring your room operates effectively while delivering a high standard of care, education and development for all children. Key responsibilities will include:
- Taking a lead role in the day-to-day organisation of your room.
- Supporting and guiding a team of Early Years Practitioners.
- Creating stimulating activities based around children's interests and developmental needs.
- Ensuring practice reflects the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
- Monitoring and recording children's progress and development.
- Developing positive relationships with parents and carers.
- Supporting children with differing needs and abilities.
- Encouraging an inclusive, nurturing and engaging learning environment.
- Maintaining excellent safeguarding, health and safety standards.
- Working collaboratively with the wider nursery leadership team.
- Contributing to the continued improvement of the setting.
