Cornerstone Healthcare is looking for experienced and passionate Nurses (RGN/RMN) to join our award-winning team at The Burren. The Burren is a brand-new purpose-built service location in South Bristol, providing high-quality care and supporting residents with varying complex neurological, mental health, and dementia care needs in a comfortable and safe living environment. Our approach focuses on individualised care, considering the whole person's unique strengths and challenges, rather than just the diagnosis. What You’ll Bring:

  • Minimum 2 years experience working as a Registered Nurse within the UK with a valid NMC pin (RMN desirable).
  • Experience working with adults that present with complex needs including challenging behaviours and mental health needs.
  • Ability to work alone as well as in a team and be able to form positive relationships with colleagues, residents, and families.
  • A caring and empathetic approach to residents and their visitors.
  • Effective communication skills (both written and verbal).

Your Working Pattern:

  • Day shifts 7.45am - 20.15pm.
  • Night Shifts 19.45pm - 8.15am.
  • Average of 40.25 hours per week. While we accept preference, you will be required to work a mixture of days and nights. Weekend work involved.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Organise and delegate workload to ensure effective delivery of residents’ care is carried out by appropriately skilled members of staff.
  • Assessing, planning, and evaluating care needs or the provision of care.
  • Oversee care provided by Health Care Assistants & Senior Health Care Assistants on shift.
  • Participate in clinical meetings as required and report areas of concern to managers.
  • Ensure that relevant documentation is maintained in a comprehensive manner.
  • Respect the confidentiality, dignity, and privacy of residents and staff at all times.
