Working Hours: Alternating Sun - Wednesday 18:00 - 06:00 / Thursday - Sat 18:00 - 06:00

Pay: £727.87 weekly salary

What you'll be doing: As a Warehouse Senior Operative, you'll play a key role in supporting the smooth day-to-day running of warehouse operations. Working closely with the Shift Team Leader, you'll help coordinate activities, maintain high standards and ensure products move safely and accurately through the warehouse. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting the Shift Team Leader in delivering daily warehouse priorities
  • Coordinating goods-in, stock movements, replenishment, picking and despatch activities
  • Ensuring stock is stored, rotated and handled correctly to maintain food safety and full traceability
  • Completing stock transactions accurately using warehouse systems, scanners and paperwork
  • Booking in deliveries and preparing products for internal and external distribution
  • Identifying and escalating stock discrepancies, shortages or operational issues
  • Assisting with stock counts, cycle counts and audit preparation
  • Safely operating warehouse equipment, including pallet trucks and FLTs (where authorised)
  • Coaching and supporting warehouse colleagues to maintain consistent standards
  • Working closely with Production, Planning, Stock Control, Engineering and Despatch teams
  • Completing clear and effective shift handovers

What we’re looking for:

  • Experience within a warehouse, logistics, despatch or food manufacturing environment
  • A strong understanding of warehouse operations, including goods-in, stock control, picking and despatch
  • Good knowledge of health & safety, food safety and hygiene standards
  • Experience using warehouse management systems, scanners or stock control systems (desirable)
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • The confidence to support, coach and guide colleagues
  • A flexible, reliable and proactive approach
  • Pallet truck, pallet stacker or FLT experience (desirable)
