Are you passionate about working with adults with mental health issues? Then we want to hear from you! We are looking to fill a part-time post at a Local Mental Health Team covering the Broxtowe and Hucknall area of Nottinghamshire to cover maternity leave. Our core business hours are 09:00-17:00.
We seek an Occupational Therapist with excellent communication skills to join our existing dynamic multidisciplinary Local Mental Health Team. The post-holder will conduct specific assessments, formulation and interventions, working collaboratively with patients, their carers/families, and partnership organisations to develop creative, goal-oriented, time-limited occupational therapy plans.

This post is both rewarding and a vital role towards the assessment and delivery of treatment to our patients in the Broxtowe and Hucknall area. You will provide a high-quality Occupational Therapy service collaboratively with the patients in their own homes and local environments, working with an assistant in the provision of intervention plans.
Professional and clinical supervision will be provided by an identified Occupational Therapist. Please note applicants will be required to pay for their DBS check. Costs are deducted from salary following appointment. The cost of the DBS application is £26.40 (standard) or £54.40 (enhanced), this cost will be deducted from your salary over the first 2 months of employment. You are encouraged to enrol for the DBS Update Service. An annual fee of £16 per year applies.
A full UK driving licence and vehicle for business use is required for this post; however, reasonable adjustments will be made for disabled individuals in line with the Equality Act 2010.
