Are you interested in an exciting, varied role, where you will be out meeting clients, scoping jobs, CAD designing and seeing through to completion? You will be joining an award-winning, RIBA chartered practice that has operated across 5 offices for over 100 years. During their tenure, they have built up an outstanding reputation for creative design and high-quality implementation of master plans, individual buildings and interiors. Due to an increase in workload, they are looking for an experienced member of staff to join their retail fit-out team.

In your new role, you will be working on a variety of retail refurbishment projects from start to finish:

  • Attend and lead meetings with clients and subcontractors
  • Advise on building regulations (Fire Regs and DDA)
  • Attend site visits across the country and carry out measured surveys
  • Create drawing packages
  • Create scopes of work and specification documents
  • Understanding of CDM
  • Manage subcontractors

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Excellent communication skills as this is a client-facing role
  • Willingness to travel at least once per week (all expenses paid for)
  • High level of proficiency with AutoCAD
  • A UK driving licence
  • Experience in the retail fit-out sector - Consultancy / Contracting / Project management
