We are seeking a skilled and experienced MOT Technician to join our client's reputable dealership in Nottingham. Duties of the MOT Technician:
- Conduct MOT tests in accordance with DVSA standards
- Perform servicing, maintenance, and repairs to manufacturer standards
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical faults
- Complete comprehensive vehicle health checks
- Ensure all vehicles are safe, roadworthy, and repaired to a high standard
- Work efficiently to meet workshop productivity and quality targets
- Maintain accurate records of work carried out as the MOT Technician
- Collaborate effectively with team members in a busy workshop environment
Requirements of the MOT Technician :
- Level 3 NVQ, City & Guilds, or equivalent qualification
- Valid MOT Tester licence is essential
- Minimum of 3 years' practical workshop experience
- Previous experience within a main dealership is advantageous
- Strong mechanical, diagnostic, and electrical fault-finding skills
- Attention to detail with pride in your workmanship
- Positive attitude and excellent teamworking skills
- Full UK driving licence with a maximum of 6 points
