Duties of a Parts Advisor

  • Supplying vehicle parts and accessories to retail and trade customers
  • Assisting workshop teams with parts identification and ordering
  • Processing customer enquiries via telephone, email, and face-to-face interactions
  • Maintaining accurate stock control and inventory records as a Parts Advisor
  • Receiving, checking, and storing deliveries efficiently
  • Identifying and sourcing parts using manufacturer systems
  • Ensuring a professional, efficient, and friendly customer service experience
  • Supporting the department to achieve sales targets and high customer satisfaction levels

Requirements of a Parts Advisor

  • Previous experience as a Parts Advisor or within an automotive parts environment
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and busy environment
  • Computer literacy, with experience in parts catalogues and dealer management systems advantageous
  • Team-oriented with a positive and proactive approach
  • Full UK Driving Licence preferred
