Duties of a Parts Advisor
- Supplying vehicle parts and accessories to retail and trade customers
- Assisting workshop teams with parts identification and ordering
- Processing customer enquiries via telephone, email, and face-to-face interactions
- Maintaining accurate stock control and inventory records as a Parts Advisor
- Receiving, checking, and storing deliveries efficiently
- Identifying and sourcing parts using manufacturer systems
- Ensuring a professional, efficient, and friendly customer service experience
- Supporting the department to achieve sales targets and high customer satisfaction levels
Requirements of a Parts Advisor
- Previous experience as a Parts Advisor or within an automotive parts environment
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and busy environment
- Computer literacy, with experience in parts catalogues and dealer management systems advantageous
- Team-oriented with a positive and proactive approach
- Full UK Driving Licence preferred
