Duties as Maths Teacher:
- Deliver engaging and well-structured Maths lessons in line with the secondary curriculum
- Teach a range of mathematical topics across KS3 and KS4
- Adapt lessons to meet the needs of pupils with varying abilities
- Create a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment
- Use effective behaviour management strategies in line with school policies
- Assess and record pupil progress where required
- Work collaboratively with department staff and support teams
- Contribute positively to wider school life during longer-term placements
Ideal Maths Teacher:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Strong subject knowledge across the Maths curriculum
- Confident classroom and behaviour management skills
- Ability to engage and motivate pupils across different key stages
- Adaptable and professional approach across varied school settings
- Strong communication and organisational skills
