We are recruiting for a highly skilled Master Technician to join our client’s reputable automotive dealership based in Trafford Park.

Our client seeks a dedicated Master Technician with strong technical expertise and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.

  • Basic salary up to £44,600, dependent on skills and experience
  • Uncapped bonus scheme with OTE up to £48,800
  • Flexible working hours, with a 4-day working week option (40 or 42.5 hours per week)

Duties

  • Diagnose and repair complex mechanical and electrical faults as a Master Technician
  • Carry out preventative maintenance and repairs to manufacturer standards
  • Support and mentor junior technicians in the workshop environment
  • Accurately complete job cards, digital reports, and documentation
  • Ensure all work complies with safety and quality standards
  • Keep technical knowledge current through manufacturer training and certifications

Requirements

  • Level 3 Vehicle Maintenance and Repair qualification or equivalent
  • Proven experience as a Master Technician within the motor trade
  • Exceptional diagnostic and fault-finding skills across mechanical and electrical systems
  • Manufacturer training, EV, MOT, or F-Gas certifications are advantageous but not essential
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Strong work ethic with attention to detail and focus on quality
