We’re excited to offer an incredible opportunity for a Hygiene Manager to join our dedicated and professional operations team.

  • Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 8am – 5pm (4pm on Fridays)
  • Type of Role: Full Time, Permanent

Your Duties Will Include

  • Manage day-to-day hygiene operations and pest management across the site.
  • Lead, train, and develop the hygiene team, including succession planning.
  • Ensure compliance with legislation, TCFG hygiene standards, and customer requirements.
  • Develop and implement strategic hygiene plans and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Identify and implement new systems, technologies, and ways of working to enhance hygiene practices.
  • Support audits, inspections, and pre-audit preparations.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams (Operations, Technical, Engineering, Procurement, etc.).
  • Control and manage the hygiene department budget.
  • Support product process and design from a hygiene perspective.

About You

  • Experience in a Hygiene Manager or similar role within the food industry
  • Experience with people management, either at a supervisory or management level
  • Level 2 & 3 Food Safety & Hygiene
  • ESOL Level 2 or equivalent
  • Knowledge of food legislation and food safetyprincipleessentials
  • Understanding of microbiology testing procedures
  • Knowledge of BRC standards and quality management systems
  • Good working knowledge of products, processes and cleaning processes in a fast moving and challenging food product/manufacturing environment
