We are looking for a Domestic Assistant to join our friendly and supportive team at Church Farm Nursing Home. This is a rewarding role where your work will directly contribute to the comfort, wellbeing and safety of the people who live in our home. No two days are the same, and you will play an important role in ensuring our residents enjoy a clean, safe and homely environment.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness throughout the home
  • Clean residents' bedrooms, bathrooms and communal areas
  • Vacuum, mop and deep clean floors, carpets and furniture
  • Empty bins and clean surfaces
  • Carry out laundry duties, including washing, drying, ironing and returning clothing
  • Change bedding and make beds
  • Restock toiletries and housekeeping supplies
  • Follow infection prevention and control procedures
  • Maintain accurate cleaning records and documentation
  • Work closely with the housekeeping team to ensure excellent standards are achieved every day
