Duties of a Diagnostic Technician:
- Servicing, repairing, and diagnosing a variety of vehicle makes and models with precision
- Conducting MOT tests in accordance with industry standards and manufacturer guidelines
- Identifying faults accurately and recommending effective repairs
- Maintaining workshop safety, efficiency, and compliance with manufacturer procedures
- Keeping detailed records of work performed
- Providing excellent customer service and technical guidance to clients
- Assisting with vehicle repairs and diagnostics to optimise workshop throughput
Requirements of a Diagnostic Technician:
- Diagnostic or Master Technician certification (preferable)
- Proven experience within a main dealer environment
- Strong diagnostic skills and technical expertise
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high standards
