Duties of a Commercial Service Advisor:
- - Prepare job cards and raise invoices in accordance with work completed and manufacturer guidelines, using Kerridge DMS and customer authorisation platforms
- - Answer customer phone calls and handle enquiries professionally
- - Assist customers at the Service Reception counter
- - Liaise with technicians and manage the workshop workload to meet customer expectations
- - Arrange service bookings and manage the diary efficiently
- - Coordinate with subcontractors to schedule work and follow up on progress
- - Keep customers informed on vehicle status, costs, and authorisations throughout the service process
- - Complete estimates accurately and efficiently
- - Ensure workshop loading is optimised by booking vehicles promptly and effectively
Requirements of a Commercial Service Advisor:
- - Proven experience within a motor trade Service Advisor role, ideally within a commercial vehicle environment
- - Excellent customer service and communication skills
- - Strong organisational and administrative capabilities
- - Ability to thrive in a busy, multitasking environment
- - Experience with Kerridge DMS advantageous
- - Professional attitude and team-oriented mindset
