Our students are taught essential and advanced skills by industry specialists and will also complete invaluable work experience placements.

We are looking for a suitably qualified and experienced individual to deliver across our Animal Management provision. In particular, we are looking for an individual with expertise in animal health and husbandry, with proven experience of working within the animal management sector. Topics may include health and husbandry, feeding and nutrition. In addition, you will teach across levels on subjects relating to animal husbandry and management, so a background working in a zoo, pet shop, kennels or other husbandry environment is essential.

Applicants should have a degree, or higher, in a relevant discipline as well as professional experience in a relevant field. Ideally, applicants should be a qualified teacher or, if not, have the commitment to obtain an appropriate qualification. You will be responsible for the teaching, development and planning of the curriculum area and implementing strategies for the delivery of an effective, high-quality curriculum.
