Salary: Support Staff Pay Scale E: £13,105 to £13,969 pro-rata per annum (Actual) (£26,403 - £28,142 full time/full year equivalent)
Fixed Term: until 31st August 2027
Part Time: 21 hours per week over 3 days including Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday
Working Weeks: 39 weeks

This role will be based at Charles Darwin Primary, 81 Rose Lane, Norwich, Norfolk, NR1 1DJ.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Support and promote an inclusive culture throughout the school, enabling all students to fulfil their potential, and support them in overcoming any barriers to learning.
- Provide support and guidance for our most vulnerable pupils so that our school is able to meet their needs and pupils make good progress.
- Develop, resource and deliver targeted activities to small groups or individual pupils to support pupils in overcoming barriers to learning and encourage positive attitudes and behaviour.
- Liaise with the senior team, Inclusion lead, PSA, teachers and other support staff including, but not limited to, teachers at the school, education specialists and parents/carers.
- Establish links and facilitate support from external agencies to ensure that pupils' needs are met, which may include attending relevant meetings, e.g. Early Help - Support Plan meetings, EHCP reviews.
About You:
- GCSE (or equivalent NVQ Level 2) Maths and English
- Experience of working with pupils of relevant age in a learning environment and supporting children’s behaviour in a positive manner
- Experience of working in roles that expect a high level of contact with parents or members of the public and ability to interact well with all stakeholders
- STEPS trained or willing to undertake such training
- First aid certificate
- Experience with recording and analysing data
