Quantity Surveyor / Senior Quantity Surveyor

We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established construction company seeking an ambitious

Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor to strengthen its commercial team in their Northampton office This is an excellent opportunity to work on a diverse portfolio of projects across the commercial, hospitality, stadia and specialist residential sectors while progressing your career within a supportive and growing business.

The Role

You will be responsible for managing the commercial and contractual aspects of projects from pre-construction through to final account, ensuring they are delivered profitably, on time and to the highest standards.

Working closely with clients, consultants and operational teams, you'll play a key role in maintaining strong client relationships while supporting the successful delivery of high-quality construction projects.

Typical Projects

You'll have the opportunity to work across a varied portfolio including: stadia, hosptiality, gyms, offices, retail etc upto £30m

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing all commercial aspects of projects from tender through to final account.
  • Preparing cost plans, estimates, budgets and financial forecasts.
  • Procuring subcontractors and managing competitive tender processes.
  • Administering contracts, valuations, variations and final accounts.
  • Monitoring project costs, cash flow and financial performance.

About You

You'll ideally have

  • A degree (or equivalent) in Quantity Surveying or a related construction discipline.
  • Previous experience as a Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor within the construction industry.
  • Experience delivering projects within one or more of the following sectors:
  • Stadia
  • Hospitality
  • New build
