We are now recruiting an experienced Parts Supervisor for a well-established family-run main dealership located in Northampton.
This is a unique opportunity for a driven professional seeking to take full ownership and manage a standalone parts department, playing a vital role in the dealership’s aftersales success.
The role offers a competitive package, with a basic salary of £30,000 plus bonus and overtime, resulting in a £33,000 OTE.
The position operates on a Monday to Friday schedule, 8:00am to 5:30pm, with one in four Saturday mornings.

Duties of the Parts Supervisor
- Take full responsibility for the day-to-day management of the parts department
- Manage all parts enquiries from retail and trade customers
- Ensure prompt and accurate supply of parts to the workshop
- Oversee ordering, receiving, and stock control processes
- Maintain accurate stock records and perform regular stock checks
- Process invoices, returns, and warranty parts claims efficiently
- Handle parts pricing and identify opportunities for additional sales
- Collaborate closely with Service and Workshop teams to ensure smooth operations
- Build and nurture strong relationships with customers and suppliers
- Work independently using your initiative to ensure department success
- Maintain an organised, efficient, and commercially focused parts operation
Requirements of the Parts Supervisor
- Previous experience as a Parts Advisor, Parts Supervisor, or Parts Manager within the motor trade
- Strong knowledge of automotive parts and their applications
- Proven ability to independently manage a parts department is highly advantageous
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Well-developed organisational, administrative, and IT skills
- Commercial awareness with a focus on parts sales and stock control
- Self-motivated with confidence to operate independently
- Full UK driving licence is preferred
