We are recruiting on behalf of our client for the position of Vehicle Technician in Bideford, Devon.

Duties of the Vehicle Technician
- Carry out vehicle servicing and repairs to the highest standards, ensuring safety and quality compliance
- Use advanced diagnostic tools and techniques to accurately identify vehicle issues
- Fit tyres, including wheel alignment, interpreting readings and making necessary adjustments
- Replace mechanical components such as brakes, exhausts, batteries, and suspension parts
- Conduct MOT repairs in accordance with current regulations and standards
- Perform detailed vehicle inspections and diagnostics to assess repair needs
- Advise customers on maintenance schedules and future repair work
- Maintain strict adherence to health and safety regulations
Requirements of the Vehicle Technician
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification in the Automotive Industry
- Proven experience in vehicle repairs, including tyres, brakes, exhausts, and suspension
- Proficiency in using diagnostic and testing equipment as the Vehicle Technician
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
