Pinnacle Group is looking for a Morning Police Station Cleaner to provide and maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in our communities. You will be joining our Soft FM Cleaning Team based at the Northallerton Police Station – DL6. Your role will be to provide and maintain a clean, safe, and healthy environment for staff, users, and visitors to a high standard throughout the Police Station. You will be reliable, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering excellence.
This is a Permanent Role of 15 hours per week on a set rota: - Monday / Tuesday / Thursday / Friday 9am to 12noon, then either a Saturday or Sunday 6am to 9am (5 x days all 3-hour shifts). If you take pride in your work and have a passion for creating clean, safe spaces, we encourage you to apply.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Damp & spot mopping, dusting, polishing of surfaces, fixtures and fittings, sanitising touch points, door handles, push plates, and other surfaces.
- Cleaning the communal areas over 3 floors including stairs & landings.
- Cleaning changing rooms, toilet facilities, and hand basins and replenishing toilet paper, hand soap & towels.
- To clean the tea points and the kitchen area.
- Experience with a buffer machine/carpet cleaner.
- Removal of waste from internal litter bins within the offices and meeting rooms.
- Vacuuming and carpet washing carpeted areas, including barrier matting.
Key requirements will include:
- Good physical health is essential due to the nature of the tasks – bending, climbing stairs and heavy lifting are involved in some tasks.
- Good knowledge and experience, and attention to detail in cleaning services and cleaning equipment, including COSHH and Health and Safety.
- Obligation to adhere to safe working practices and ensure due consideration is given to the safety of the office staff.
- Previous experience in a similar role, with knowledge of cleaning solutions and their uses.
- The appointment to this role will be subject to completion of a Non-Police Personnel Vetting (NPPV) Check and must have resided in the UK for the last 3 years.
