The Role

  • Deliver premium homeware, kitchens, and furniture safely to residential clients.
  • Work closely with a Driver's Mate on every shift to handle deliveries together.
  • Load and offload goods using safe manual handling techniques.
  • Multi-drop delivery work where care, efficiency, and accuracy are essential.
  • Customer-facing role where you'll represent both the client and The Best Connection in a professional and friendly manner.

The Candidate

  • Full UK 7.5T (Category C1) driving licence with valid CPC and Digital Tachograph cards.
  • Excellent flexibility to take on weekdays, weekends, or a mix of both.
  • Smart appearance and strong communication skills.
  • Reliable, punctual, and customer-focused.
  • Physical fitness to handle heavy lifting and furniture delivery tasks alongside your mate.

Hours of Work and Pay

  • Flexible shift patterns with both weekday and weekend shifts available.
  • £13.40 per hour standard Monday to Friday rate.
  • £20.10 per hour (x1.5) overtime rate after 8 hours worked daily (Monday to Friday).
  • £20.10 per hour (x1.5) for all hours worked on Saturdays.
  • £26.80 per hour (x2.0) for all hours worked on Sundays.
