We’re looking for motivated, reliable Warehouse Operatives to join our team at our Melton distribution site (near North Ferriby) as Warehouse Pickers. Our Warehouse Operatives play a vital role in ensuring our stores receive accurate, timely deliveries; helping us provide great value to customers across more than 340 stores, seven days a week.

About the Role

You’ll work 40 hours per week across five 8‑hour shifts, 2pm–10pm, on a two‑week rolling rota with every other weekend off. Working within our Freezer, Chilled, or Ambient chambers, you’ll pick stock orders using a voice‑activated headset and prepare cages ready for delivery to stores. This is a hands‑on, active role where you’ll work to targets and contribute directly to the smooth running of our distribution operation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Pick and load store orders accurately and efficiently using a voice‑pick system
  • Work within Freezer (down to -25°C), Chilled, or Ambient environments with full PPE provided
  • Manage your time effectively to achieve pick targets and performance standards
  • Maintain high levels of accuracy and productivity
  • Follow all Health & Safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment

What You’ll Bring
