We are recruiting on behalf of a reputable Accident Repair Centre in Newcastle for a skilled MET Technician.

This MET Technician role offers one of the best remuneration packages in the region and secure employment with a leading industry employer.

Duties as a MET Technician

  • Conduct mechanical repairs and bodywork on assigned vehicles
  • Dismantling, fault-finding, and diagnostic work
  • Re-assembly of vehicles with new or repaired parts
  • Carry out inspections and testing to ensure safety and quality standards
  • Identify faults and recommend necessary work
  • Road test vehicles to verify repairs and safety compliance
  • Maintain high standards of safety, quality, and efficiency

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a MET Technician
  • Attention to detail and high-quality workmanship
  • Ability to multi-task effectively
  • ATA accreditation would be advantageous but not essential
