The aim of the job is to assist with my morning routine enabling me to start the day off and live an independent life.

I am a male in my mid 30’s and paralysed from the shoulder down having suffered a spinal cord injury.

This means that I require assistance in all aspects of my life.

I am looking for someone who is a good listener, able to work with others, reliable and punctual.

The job involves assisting me and my live in PA with a variety of tasks including basic moving and handling tasks, transfers from bed to chair and vice versa and personal care duties like washing / brushing teeth etc.

Due to the moving and handling required you must be physically able to carry out these duties.

You would be required to assist me for 3 hours each morning from 8.15am, ideally 4 mornings per week with occasional weekend work.

  • Duties include basic moving and handling tasks, transfers from bed to chair and vice versa and personal care duties like washing / brushing teeth etc.
