We are currently recruiting for a reliable and organised Weighbridge Operator to join a busy waste and recycling site in the NP11 area. This role will involve operating the site weighbridge, accurately recording waste movements and assisting with the safe and efficient flow of vehicles around the site.
Duties will include:
- Operating the weighbridge system to accurately record the weight of incoming and outgoing waste vehicles
- Ensuring all waste movements are recorded correctly within the site management system
- Checking and recording relevant vehicle and waste information
- Directing drivers to the appropriate loading or unloading areas
- Maintaining a safe and efficient flow of traffic around the site
- Communicating clearly with drivers, site operatives and management
- Reporting any discrepancies or issues with loads or weighbridge records
- Completing relevant paperwork and administrative duties
- Answering queries from drivers and visitors
- Following all site Health & Safety procedures
- Keeping the weighbridge office clean and organised
- Carrying out other reasonable duties as required
Working Hours: Monday to Friday 07:30 – 18:00
Pay: £13.00 per hour
