- Clinical care
- Deliver safe and effective nursing care in accordance with Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) Code of Conduct.
- Assess patient needs and provide individualised care.
- Monitor patient condition pre-operative and post-operative, recognising and responding to complications.
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with hospital policies and NMC guidelines.
- Provide wound care, pain management and post-surgical monitoring.
- Maintain accurate patient documentation and electronic health records.

- Ensure compliance with infection prevention and control standards.

- Provide clear information and reassurance to patients and families.
