During your training period, you'll earn a salary of £38,000. Once you've successfully completed your training and are signed off to undertake deliveries independently, your salary will increase to up to £47,218.22, plus overtime.

  • Tasks and Responsibilities of the HGV Class 1 Driver include
  • Making multi drop deliveries and assisting in the unloading of products and cages into stores.
  • Collecting stock and delivering to site.
  • Collection of empty pallets, steel and cardboard from stores and returning to the distribution centre.
  • Completion of daily vehicle checks and maintaining working order of company vehicles and any equipment on-board. Reporting of
  • any vehicle damage or faults.
  • Successful HGV Class 1 Drivers will have the following
  • Full and current Class 1 C+E driving license
  • Must hold a DIGI tacho card
  • Good knowledge of driving laws and regulations
  • Able to communicate and clearly follow written and verbal instructions, able to lift and manoeuvre medium to heavy loads
