Ceredigion County Council Direct Payment Support Service is seeking a Personal Assistant to care for Zak, a non-verbal autistic 13-year-old, at home and in the community from Great Park, Newcastle upon Tyne.
The role offers up to 20 hours per week term time with holiday shifts.
You will work using a communication book/VOCA (and possibly Makaton) to understand needs, promote safety and routines, and support asked activities.
Confidentiality, reliability and flexibility are essential requirements.
