Improving how we work As Cora continues to develop, there will be opportunities to support practical improvements across People Operations.
Depending on team priorities, you may contribute to
- Developing and maintaining content for our colleague hub.
- Improving process guides, templates, checklists and standard operating procedures.
- Mapping existing processes and identifying unnecessary steps or duplication.
- Supporting updates to HR systems, service desk workflows and automated processes.
- Testing changes and helping new processes become part of day-to-day working.
- Creating clearer guidance for colleagues and managers.
- Using feedback and recurring queries to identify where processes could be simpler or more effective.
You won't be expected to redesign everything alone.
You'll work alongside the People Operations & Resourcing Partner and wider People Team to turn agreed improvements into practical resources and processes.

- Coordinate more complex employee lifecycle activity, including starters, contractual changes, family leave, internal moves and leavers.
- Prepare and review routine People documentation.
- Support, offers and onboarding, particularly where cases are urgent, regulated or more complex.
- Maintain accurate information across HR, onboarding and service desk systems.
- Support routine data-quality checks, reporting and audit preparation.
- Coordinate accurate payroll information for starters, leavers and employee changes.
- Respond to queries from colleagues, candidates, managers and external providers.
- Support People projects, mobilisations and organisational changes where required.
- Handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain appropriate records.

What we're looking for
You’ll have experience in HR, People Operations, onboarding, compliance or employee lifecycle administration.
You’ll be comfortable managing detailed work, keeping track of deadlines and dealing with queries that do not always fit neatly into a standard process.
You’ll bring
- Experience supporting employee lifecycle, onboarding or compliance processes.
- Strong organisation and attention to detail.
- Confidence maintaining employee records, spreadsheets, trackers and reports.

- Clear and supportive communication skills.
- Confidence helping colleagues understand and follow processes.
- The ability to manage competing priorities and follow work through to completion.
- An interest in improving processes, guidance and colleague experience.
- Discretion when handling confidential or sensitive information.
- A CIPD Level 3 qualification, or equivalent practical experience, would be welcomed.
- Experience in healthcare, regulated services, professional registration, medical revalidation, DBS, visa sponsorship or organisations delivering services to NHS partners would be useful, but isn't essential.
